He finally Came!!!!
Cole Kevin Taylor finally came! We decided he takes after his father as he was very prompt and decided to come right on time on his due date, December 4th. He arrived at 4:52 a.m. After being in labor all day Sunday, we finally went into the hospital shortly after midnight Sunday night. Within a few hours after arriving, the baby's heart rate started to drop. When it dropped real low, the nurses came in with a rush, the doctor was called and in about 10 minutes I was on the operating table having a C-section. They got him out quickly and he has been so much fun and so tiring ever since. The picture on the bottom is just a few hours after he was born. The one in the middle was from one of his first bath's and the one on the top shows his classic serious face. When his eyes are open he is seriously studying the world. He can see lights and will follow mom and dad's voice when we talk to him. Cole made out like a bandit for Christmas, only 3 weeks old and spoiled rotten by his grandparents! He is a good baby, and will sleep anywhere from 3-4 hours at a time at night, unless of course he is snuggled and warm on mom or dad's chest, then I think he would sleep forever if we let him. Kevin and I are adjusting amazingly to a very small amount of sleep compared to what we were used to. Cole is so precious and we try to soak in every day, every hour of snuggle time, every cute face and cute sound he makes as we know all is temporary and he will soon be all grown up. He already barely fits into his newborn clothes anymore! We will update with more pictures soon as Cole already looks different from when these pictures were taken.
