It's time again!

We finally went and got family pictures taken, they are the first ones with Brynlee in our family.  She is six months old a few days ago and she has already decided she needs to crawl.  I don't know where the time has gone, but she is growing and so fun.  She has a cry/scream to let you know how she really feels and pouty face when she does not like something.  She loves Cole, he loves to entertain her.  Occasionally, when he just has to do something to see what kind of reaction he will get, it does not fail, she has a special scream already just for when he does something to her.  Cole is very cute and very helpful as well.  Cole started 3 year old preschool this year.  So far he likes it, however, he does not like to sit and do his homework, go figure, it doesn't involve a tractor, not worth his time!

Oh, she is such an angel.  It is amazing how much love a parent can have for a baby!

So we got a new car.  My Honda died.  The transmission went out and we weren't going to replace it again.  So, we sold it off cheap and got us an upgrade.  We love it, well, I love it, I don't let Kevin drive it too often.  It is a Sequoia.  I feel like an official mom with an SUV.  Cole's requirements were that it have a tv and a windshield wiper on the back window.  He was a little disapointed that this did not have a tv, but the sunroof has made up for it for now.

Updated photo's

Cole absolutely loves Brynlee.

This is the best sad face. I posted one of Cole's sad faces on May 27th, 2007, if you go to my older posts, you can see his face and compare, they are definitely brother and sister.

Sorry, I don't know how to make these rotate when I upload them into the blog, so just turn your head to the right!!! This blanket is one that my Aunt Donna hand stitched for Brynlee, doesn't it speak the truth!!!

Not to be outdone by his little sister, Cole knows all the tricks to get into a picture as well.

Oh, she is an angel!!!

I think she was done with all the attention!

Cole has many creative ideas for the binkies! I have found them in the knobs of our blinds, now this, anything he can stuff inside of them, he does, the latest being one of my earplugs!

Such handsome boys!

So, it was raining and Cole just can't stand to be inside all day. So, we got him as dressed as possible for the cold, rainy day and he decided he needed his goggles so "the rain won't get in his eyeballs."

Brynlee is here!!!

So, it seems like I was pregnant FOREVER, but Brynlee is finally here. You say it like the y is an i. She is so precious. She came on March 10th at 6:41 pm and weighed 7.3 lbs and was 19 inches long. My C-Section went well too and my recovery has been way easier with her than it was with Cole. I had forgotten how beautiful and precious a newborn is. She is such a blessing and wonderful addition to our little family. She is a good baby too. She sleeps ok, as long as she is snuggled, she just loves to be held, all day and night. I think that is because Grandma and Grandpa Whitney were here for her first two weeks and she really was snuggled most of the time. Her hair is reddish, she looks a lot like Cole did when he was born too. Cole is adjusting well. He LOVES his baby sister. When she cries he goes to her and starts singing and patting her and telling her "it's ok baby sister!" He loves to give her kisses and hug her and rub his cheek on her fuzzy hair. He is a very good big brother, we are so proud of him for that!

Here are some pictures my dad took, the lighting is just perfect and she just looks so cute!

Kevin is holding her. I can't believe how little she is!

She has the biggest yawns ever. Half the time she knocks herself over backwards when she yawns.

This is when we were leaving the hospital. Stacey made the cute hat.

This was her first bath. She wouldn't let go of the binkie, but she did not cry.

Cole loves her and loves to love on her!

She has a goopy eye, we call it her pirate eye. Cole laughs whenever she has it closed and he does the pirate look as well.

Cole is already learning to share with her.

Cole and Grandpa Whitney were good buddies when they were here. Thank goodness for Grandpa who took him out on walks and bike rides and dug in the big dirt pile and build sand castles and whatever else Cole could come up with to steal Grandpa's attention!

He is so silly!
