Baby's first cabin trip

Cole loved going up to the cabin, the dirt roads put him right to sleep and he loved looking at everything on the 4 wheeler. I loved the beautiful colors. Fall is wonderful here, too bad it means winter is around the corner.

So Cute!!!

Oh we think he is so cute and I think quite often he thinks he is so cute too!!!!

SEQUOIA!!!!!

The first picture is what we wake up to see outside of our cabin door every morning.

Then there is our little water baby. He loved the lake water because he could see the fish and every time he saw them his arms and legs started moving and he started squawking. He wanted to get those fish.

Thank goodness for Grandpa!!! Boy did he have his hands full.

Sequoia just wore these two out! Kevin's other arm is at the top of the picture and is in the exact pose as Cole's! Like father, like son!!!

Random pictures of Cole

These are just some more cute pictures of Cole and Cole with his great-grandmother.

The Great Debate

It is an ongoing debate, perhaps you can weigh in with your vote, who does Cole look most alike?

Cutest baby in Plain City

We entered Cole in the baby contest in Plain City over the 4th of July, he won as the cutest baby 6 months or younger in Plain City. We got to ride in a float for the 4th of July Parade. He just smiled and with a little help from mom, waved at everyone!!!

Cole is teething

Cole is teething, 6 teeth in 2 months to be exact (which translates to 2 more months without sleep for Kevin and I). He loves to curl his lips over his new teeth on the top and bottom to feel them. He also likes to stick his tongue out to feel them but we haven't got a picture of that yet!

And then there is girls weekend out!!! We got massages, pedicures, laughed and played for a few fabulous days at Disneyland. It was like we were young again!!!

And here are the twins, don't their faces say it all!!! Cole still isn't sure what to make of being stuck in the middle of those two.

For anyone wondering how Brian and Val and the boys are doing, we can thank Grandma's recent week of fun and adventure in Texas for these pictures. I can't believe how big they are all getting. Seth is on the left, then Carter, then Brayson on the right.

These were just in the last few weeks. We gave Cole his first mohawk, Baby John is jealous of his hair already and Cole is already starting to crawl. He loves to roll over on to his tummy, pull his legs up, then dive forward. Putting him on a blanket no longer does any good, he goes where he wants to. He is so fun, we are getting a few hours of solid sleep every night now, so we are happier. When he was in the middle of his colicky stage we never imagined how much fun and how happy and easy of a baby he would be now. He has brought so much joy and life into our home. Hope everyone in California can come meet him when we are down there in two weeks.
Every Easter in Plain City they load the park up with candy tossed on the ground, divide the kids up into age groups and it is a giant free for all to pick up the most candy. Cole was getting the hang of it already this year!

This was at his blessing in March. Isn't he just so precious.

Oh how we love that smile. He smiles for everyone, all the time. Does he take after dad or what?

Someday Cole is going to be so mad at us for showing everyone this picture. This is back in February, when he was mad, this is the face we got. I don't think he ever appreciated our laughing at it though.

Baby Cole is still so tiny, he loves to hang on to fingers now,
especially Dad's!!!!

We had some fun dressing him up for Christmas, luckily he won't remember any of it and we can just use it as blackmail later in life!

He always has to have his hands up around his face, we try to bundle him and tuck them in and he will fuss and squirm until he frees his hands himself, or we give in and free them!

this is a classic face Cole loves to give us. We call it his serious face! He does this when he is looking at lights, when someone new holds him, or when Mom or Dad are making faces at him, or when dad tickles him, such is the case for this picture here!

It gets so cold up here, we try to keep him bundled as warm as possible.
